It's a little disheartening, seeing how supportive SA was of my past projects. I mean, I was given the thumbs up to post about my little projects like the Minecraft server, but can't even post a thread about Alteil: Horizons unless it gets traction on the kickstarter subthreads. To top it off - there are people we know in real life having their own games plugged that are similar and borrow mechanics from us (Solforge, etc) that are stickied.
On the bright side, my fellow devs at the Festival of Indie games are showing support and are thinking of ways to help get the word out. We secured seven interviews in a row on saturday during the festival, so hopefully that will help. Sean had a lengthy interview with kotaku that went pretty well too - hopefully the combination of these and the fact we just passed 30% in our kickstater will show us some love.
Another online TCG with a team of a similar and budget size to ours got the staff spotlight. Maybe I should ask them what we need to do to get noticed as an indie. Here is ours for comparison. diadem fucked around with this message on 09-16-2013 at 10:35 AM.

It's the biggest possible trump card I can think of playing, and it's happening during the last minute. When you hear it you'll end up quoting iron man 2 - "Well, I think you should lead with that one next time.".
