The animation seamlessly blended in with gameplay for a charming experience!
The Pokemon-style collecting/training/evolving system was fun and innovative!
Every common battle was won by mashing the X button!
Every boss battle was incredibly cheap, won essentially by waiting around for the boss to do their super-move, which gives you a very short time to hit 'Defend'.
Your supporting characters seem incredibly ill-suited at staying alive to help.
I stopped playing after beating a certain Jelly-fish looking boss.
Was the game worth powering through afterward, I wonder?
