The story, artwork and 'Feel' of the game was great!

The animation seamlessly blended in with gameplay for a charming experience!

The Pokemon-style collecting/training/evolving system was fun and innovative!

Every common battle was won by mashing the X button!

Every boss battle was incredibly cheap, won essentially by waiting around for the boss to do their super-move, which gives you a very short time to hit 'Defend'.

Your supporting characters seem incredibly ill-suited at staying alive to help.

I stopped playing after beating a certain Jelly-fish looking boss.

Was the game worth powering through afterward, I wonder?

Japanese developers have apparently decided that players and their decisions are no longer the primary focus of video games.

Phantasy Star Online would like to have a word with you.

Granted, there's probably about 30 hours of grinding for one of the health potion equivalents this guy uses during the fight, but it's a damn sight better than WoW's raiding.

I was actually being facetious about the 30 hours for one health potion comment, I just thought it was a neat boss fight.
