Watch The Walking Dead instead.

Same thing. Better acting.

Besides, this looks like fast zombies. WWZ zombies were slow zombies.

That zombie "wave" thing that is going on is quite unique.

Fast zombies are terrible, much like the music in this trailer

Apparently J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5 creator) wrote the draft which got it green lighted and that reviewers of the draft called it "amazing" and "Best Picture oscar material" and "perfectly adapting the book for the big screen".

.... then they tossed his draft aside and Matthew Michael Carnahan re-wrote it as an action film.

Seriously Hollywood?

It's a shame, I would watch almost anything done by the creator of Babylon 5.

I'm pretty sure anything decomposing isn't going to be very fast.

The SyFy movie "2012 Zombie Apocalypse" had one interesting thing in it. And from what the review I sat through on it showed, god I'm glad I never watched that pile of crap.

Fresh Zombies were still fast. Bit more than normal human overall. It does make some sense. Fresh ones have minimal decay, don't feel pain, don't have a heart to worry about overworking with adrenaline surge. Over time the exertion takes its toll along with general decay and they break down to Shamblers. Body isn't alive to repair the damaged muscle tissue from over-exertion, after a bit it adds up.

However I still don't see how they make a zombie horde flow like water. Or how death automatically teaches them parkour.

Holy crap, this looks awesome.

"He lets the last Hungarian go, and he goes running. He waits until his wife and kids are in the ground and he goes after the rest of the mob. He kills their kids, he kills their wives, he kills their parents and their parents' friends. He burns down the houses they grew up in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money. And like that he was gone. Underground. No one has ever seen him again. He becomes a myth, a spook story that criminals tell their kids at night. 'If you rat on your pop, Keyser Soze will get you.' And nobody really ever believes." - Roger 'Verbal' Kint, The Usual Suspects
