Because it allows repubs to buy up publicity and media to build rhetoric using money they inherited or obtained by exploiting underprivileged groups, allows 16 year old eunuchs to make hundreds of millions of dollars for singing stock lyrics that are autotuned and produced by someone they've barely met, lets people with stupid ideas make all the choices on the basis that the majority of people (who are stupid) agree with them, allows biker gangs to roam the countryside freely under the guise of a legitimate government, etc.
