Tarquinn Does Venice?

I had to work all weekend, which sucked.

But the War for Cybertron multiplayer demo came out a few days ago, so it evened out

What did you do in Venice, anywho?

I hit Video Games Live this weekend. Almost got in deep shit for recording part of the Diablo 3 music.

Are you supposed to be excited or about to be mugged in that shot?

Venice is awesome! I went there a couple of years ago. Every shop is hideously expensive though.

Did you watch the traditional glass-blowing, go shopping, or just tootle about the place?

We had twentyeight hours, so we just walked around. Sadly no time for museums and stuff. Might correct that in the future. Venice is absolutely breathtaking. Not talking about the supposed stench of the channels, because there is none. Maybe at the end of the summer its different.

One of the first comments from Irish relatives many years ago was "what a German looking boy". Frankly, I don't see it.

The Venetians certainly didn't think so, "Ah, Americano."

It's ok, when I'm on the continent I keep being told I "don't look English". Which I take as a compliment since most of the English tourists on the continent are beer-swigging loud-mouthed drains on society.

Hell, most of the English in England are like that too.
