Do you really think Rampage is touching that title any time soon? Think back to the Forrest Griffin fight and consider it. Also, while yes, he was making good money for the fights, you need to understand that that's not exactly 325k in his pocket. Training camps, nutrition, etc all cost a shit load. Sponsorships may help, but in all likelihood he's going to have a far easier time making cash as an actor.
granted im of the opinion it's going to fail abysmally and he'll be back to fight again. But he's going to linger at the cusp of the title and will in all likelihood lose to both Machida and Shogun.
