Anyway, in celebration of my ninth anniversary, along with the possibility that I am now the longest-lasting regular poster, post in this thread to learn why I think you should continue posting. The reasons will be asinine, and probably entirely subjective, but they'll be my own.
And as a bonus, I'll use this thread to hold a memorial to fallen posters whom I think are laudable. But later, when I'm drunk.

Really, not much is happening with me these days. I'm still a student for a variety of reasons, but I am really close now (overdue by a year 
). I'm still not looking forward to getting into the job market but I'm sure I'll find something to keep me aloft financially. I recently got engaged, too, so there's that.
These days, I work on open source projects, trying to contribute here and there. I've been trying to find a way to create some software so that I can be my own boss, haha. I would actually be pretty satisfied suckling off academia and doing open source for the foreseeable future.
I come with no malicious intent. I've actually thought about writing up a summary from memory of all the different security issues EC has seen across the years. I have no idea what, if any, leaks remain after the latest security overhaul, and I don't really care to inspect for any, either.

This is perhaps because I've moved away straight Creationism and I've tried take a view more toward seeing how science and religion might come together. Naturally, that will be absurd to you but I can't really see either as have the answers I'm looking for at this point. Call it lame centrism.
