So, what did you get others for Christmas?

For my dad, I got a $50 gift card (jeez) to a hobby shop he frequents and a DVD of Nausicaa in the Valley of the Wind (dude loves Miyazaki).

My mom got Double Cross by James Patterson and one of those little Willow Creek angel figurines she collects.

I gave my sister a digital voice recorder (she does lots of interviews in her work at the University of Memphis's Anthropology Department), some bookends, and some bath towels (she asked for them OK god).

I got my brother-in-law an Xbox 360 text pad and a shirt.

My aunt got a bracelet and some earrings which I embarassingly had to have help picking out =\

Her boyfriend got a sweater.

Yeah, that's right. A sweater.

My SEEKRIT SANTA from work got a $30 gift card (ugh) to Express.

Finally, I donated some toys to a little charity we were supporting at work. One young lad got his requested Yu-Gi-Oh cards and a young lady who wanted art supplies got a sketchbook and a small selection of media to experiment with =3

Und du?

Mother: Random cooking utensils, a nice pair of fabric scissors, and a lap-desk for her laptop.

Father: A nice Gentleman Jack set. I should've gotten him something more, but he's hard to buy for.

Brother: Some CDs, a nice liquor dispenser, and some hilariously cheap rum to go with it that will probably be regifted.

Cousin 1: A tablet, since he loves to draw. Unfortunately, his computer exploded last week.

Cousin 2: A few steel throwing cards, since he loves Gambit. I hope he has enough sense not to hurt people with em.

Friend 1: A pair of glasses like those from The Professional, as he has a pretty strong resemblance to Jean Reno.

Friend 2: The PS game Carnage Heart. He spends plenty of time playing crappy flash battle-bot games, so I figure this is an upgrade even if it's old.
