Unemployment represent. 
Work gave me extra time off this year to. Me and a small cadre of support personal got our vaction early, and they don't plan for anyone to be back any sooner than mid Feburary.
I Don't think I will be going back though unless I can not find work before they call me. Somewere between the haveing no were to grow/move in the company and the fact they are spending a fuckload of money for construction(New floating concrete docks, a whole fresh new showroom, remodel of the ship's store, service, my personal domain of part, and a new computer network) and only haveing 1/3 of out winter storage, and the huge decline in the market makes me think it will be rather unfun next year to work there. I also have duty on the 22nd so I have to show up for work anyway.
I do however get Christmas off. It's the only day a year I'm adamant about.
