Player made clothing. So a fancy new hat will go for several million ISK.
Capsule pilots are considered celebrities in the world of EVE. You pay for lot for celebrity clothing.

"Like my new pants? It was either these, or a new battleship."
Not that I mind. I should have a new BS in 5 days or so.
I run in an Abaddon like a real man.
Who dies a lot.
Because I'm a real man.
Because men die a lot.
I read a book while I rat.
Empire PVE means you'll be dealing with a ton of thermal and explosive damage and also primarily cruiser and sub-cruiser vessels. There really isn't much of a reason to use a BS in this environment, a BC will generally kill just as well and is cheaper to equip and replace. I mean.. I've only ever lost one ship in two years and that was due to lag spikes.
It's not really needed since I have some Dark Blood faction mod sales pending on the contract system, but it's the thought that counts. I'll only be broke for another 4 days.

How does this selling game time codes thing work?
You buy them from any of the trusted sites listed on the EVE website.
Then go to "My Account" and "Account Services" then "Securely Sell EVE Time Code".
I might actually be a hypocrit and sell a few to get a frieghter. Just because I've always wanted one and can fly one with just 1 more skill.
Also, whats up with the buddy program? Gork fucked around with this message on 09-09-2007 at 05:15 PM.
Millions upon millions of them.
Finish the tutorial, dick around empire for a while. Learn your shit, and train up some tackling skills like electronics, navigation skills, and propulsion jamming.
USE EVEMON. Drysart made it, it will not steal your password. It will help you with everything from outfitting your ships to learning which skill books you'll want to buy.
There's a shitload to learn, but don't be daunted. Eventually you'll figure out the governing principles of everything and it will be much easier.
Lots and lots and lots of questions.
You can ask me (Chackly, in game) but I don't know everything.
Do you plan on joining goonfleet gork?

Drysart stopped development on that years ago, the code is now completely different and developed by different people, and EVEMON has been overtaken by other better programs.
People were actually pretty angry at Drysart for a while since he just up and left and didn't give his assistant developers notes about his code. They had to break it down and build it back up from scratch.
So don't give Drys any credit for the current build of EVEMON. He doesn't deserve it.

You need an SA account that's 3 months old to qualify for goonfleet.
When creating a character, it helps to keep in mind what you'd like to do. You don't want to let ANY stat sink too low, but you can place emphasis on certain areas:
Intelligence governs hi-tech endeavors like research, cloaking, and various ECM and jamming abilities. Intelligence is also helps you learn the learning skills faster, which will speed up your overall progression.
Memory shares emphasis with intelligence, but memory is also important for all characters because it is more widely used for learning skills. Memory is rarely the primary stat for a skill, but is very frequently the secondary. Memory is the primary attribute for Industrial pursuits, like mining and refining.
Perception and Willpower are the primary stats for all things shooty or explodey, and also for learning the skills to fly bigger and better ships. If you plan on killing things more often than not, you will want a lot of perception and willpower.
Charisma, as in D&D, is most people's dump stat. In 0.0 charisma does almost nothing for you, but in empire Charisma helps you learn connections, diplomacy, and leadership skills that help get you much, much better rewards from missions. Keep this at a decent level if you plan on grinding out missions a lot.
As for the various backgrounds, they more or less go right along with the skills: Industrial, Spec Ops combat (emphasis on technology), or rank and file soldiering (emphasis on flying bigger ships and shooting bigger guns).
