I, on the other hand, washed bed sheets and played Chrono Trigger. With my cats.
Nicole worked, and when she got home I grilled some steaks. They turned out pretty fantastic. We watched "10 Items or Less" (Morgan Freeman) and ate dinner.
It was not an exceedingly eventful night; probably more enjoyable if with horses and quads.

I seriously hope you are jesting, because the implications of this statement are extremely offensive. Not everyone in the military is poor, and for the record, I am not hard up. And a further note, anyone with kids can tell you that an extra thousand a month helps, but unless you are shrewd about your finances, you do NOT make money when you have kids. (Actually, the housing allowance only increases by about $200, which barely covers groceries after the rent.)
As to the general confusion of the board, you'll notice that I do not normally post much information about my intimate affairs. And for the record, my 2 year old has been mentioned once before.
