28 more days till the TEASER... but they are looking at a November release for it.
Sounds about right too, Bethesda started developing it back when they picked up the rights to it in... 2004? or early 2005?
I swear to God, if Bethesda screws this up, I'm firebombing them.

As long as it's better than Fallout 2, buggy piece of shit that it was, I'll be happy.
As buggy as Fallout 2 was, it was still a great game. Tactics was a blast. And then... waiting and waiting... and waiting...
Then this and the announcement of the Fallout MMO for Q3 2010!

I seriously get all giddy when I hear, "War... War never changes"

I hope they get Ron Pearlman to do the opening in this third installment...I seriously get all giddy when I hear, "War... War never changes."

Blackened stopped staring at Deedlit long enough to write:
I have zero faith that this will be a good game. I doubt it will even be a decent one. I want to be wrong, but all I can see is another S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
I dunno if it's fair to compare Bethesda's promises to those of some unknown Ukranian developer

That would just be.. awful.

And I was all like 'Oh yeah?' and Mortious was all like:
As long as they keep on the World War 3 storyline and not alter it to jump on the terrorist bandwagon. That would just be.. awful.
They did say that they were sticking with the original formula and story line. Its just that it will be taking place on the East Coast of the US now and not the Southwest.
I just don't want Bethesda to look at the actual play and say, OK WE MAEK OBLIVION FUTURE TIME HUR... But if they did take Kotor's turn based system and developed for the Fallout environment, I would be happy.
"Don't want to sound like a fanboy, but I am with you. I'll buy it for sure, it's just a matter of for how long I will be playing it..."
