Pretty easy. Once you get the hunting rifle and the chainsaw, it's all rocks on from there. haha

The only thing I used the chainsaw on was those fat running zombies that survive freaking headshots... And the military dudes with body armor that I couldn't hit in the jaw...

Headshots do not appear to do shit.
They do. Takes about half the ammo to kill with headshots than it does shooting at the body.
The sawed-off is pretty fucking fun too.

I much prefer the uzi to the hunting rifle. I can just strafe a bit, spray, and mow down 4-5 guys with HS at a time.

The weapons tier based on how many you have. At your full compliment of 7 survivors they have both handguns, both shotguns, a couple of hunting rifles and I forget what else, probably another pistol.
They only fire when zombies get close though, they're more of a fall-back.
