"He lets the last Hungarian go, and he goes running. He waits until his wife and kids are in the ground and he goes after the rest of the mob. He kills their kids, he kills their wives, he kills their parents and their parents' friends. He burns down the houses they grew up in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money. And like that he was gone. Underground. No one has ever seen him again. He becomes a myth, a spook story that criminals tell their kids at night. 'If you rat on your pop, Keyser Soze will get you.' And nobody really ever believes." - Roger 'Verbal' Kint, The Usual Suspects

Johnny Cash, yo, not NIN.

Edit: well...the original was Johnny Cash. Can't say I like what NIN did with it.

This is the part where you claim you were mocking all the ignorant fools out there who often speak on topics they know nothing about.

*blinks* I didn't know anything Johnny Cash put out was that new... Well then, I'll just sit here and suck on my foot for a while.

Cash's cover is roughly five years old. The original was put out in 1994. Out of curiosity... How are these things new in any sense of the word?

English is a language of absolutes? Referring to things relatively isn't proper? Really now, most of Johnny Cash's career happened in the '80's; his cover of Hurt is rather new by comparison.

Edit: grammar whoring

I read these sentences and highly suspect that you have little idea of the meaning behind them. Instead, perhaps, you read it somewhere else on the internet and tried to take it to mind for later use. Currently, I'm not absolutely sure why I though that, but I assure you I am close.

Oh look, 'sage is bitching because someone didn't include every bit information in a trivial discussion. Must be a day in ending in y.

Edit: yeah, he got popular again in the '90's but the era most familiar with is music was the '80's.

Now, normally 'sage and I do not get along opinion wise in the few times I've posted, but seriously... wtf.

To say the Man in Black's career had "happened in the '80's" is just ignorant. I normally don't post to much, but when something this blantently dumb is posted, it really irks me the wrong way.

He started in the 50s when he signed to Sun I believe, and took off in the '60s in the '80s he was in and out of rehab... In the '90s he led his vocals to a lot of artists.

Then in 2002 he did the Hurt cover, which Rick Rubin produced (who produced all of his American series albums) and everyone was sad to see the shape that he was in, but amazed on how fitting the song was to toon of Cash's life.

Then he passed away in 2003.

The Man in Black, is the only "country" singer, that I like. And thats because he was beyond the real deal.

This is just dumb. His career was made well before the '80s. He didn't "get popular again in the '90's" but in the '80s. Dipshit. You probably think Roy Orbison made his career in the '80s, too.
