Oh, well. I picked up "Gears of War" for it and pretty much enjoying the game. Anyone got any suggestions on what other games I should pick up for it?
Seriously.
Guitar Hero 2 is coming out for the 360 in March. That's worth picking up.

So I understand there's a v2 of the 360 in the works that has HDMI and 1080i support built in.
er, v1 had 1080i support
Hell, the first X-Box had 1080i support. Maradon! fucked around with this message on 01-11-2007 at 11:24 AM.

I sure am glad that I was lucky enough to get a 360 that runs absolutely flawlessly.
Yes, you are very lucky. It took me two times going through Microsoft to get one that seems to work right but still occasionally has issues. Falaanla Marr fucked around with this message on 01-11-2007 at 12:01 PM.
But when the cooler/quieter v2 hits I'm gonna be banging down Best Buy's door with my extended warranty to get one o' them.

I'm on my second 'box, and only get problems very rarely. They mostly seem to be software issues now with games that already have their fair share of problems, ie Saint's Row.But when the cooler/quieter v2 hits I'm gonna be banging down Best Buy's door with my extended warranty to get one o' them.
Hell, I'm going to straight up buy myself a V2 when they come out. I don't have any sort of extended warranty. I figure I can get a couple hundred for my current Box

Alaan said this about your mom:
I'm pretty sure they already patched in 1080p support and Component can handle it.
I don't think a lot of games supports 1080p though. The only one that I can think of off the top of my head is SC A, and they patched it in. Otherwise I think it's just 1080i.

That really doesn't relate to the 360 physically handling it though. The patch just went out a few months ago. OBviously the games made before it won't handle 1080p. Most games after it won't either! The options out there though.
Would HDMI be nice? Sure. Is it really a huge deal? Not really. Alaan fucked around with this message on 01-12-2007 at 12:32 AM.
Superman: Returns is a retal fyi. In my opinion not really the best game to buy.
Race: Dwarf

They did patch it, but component video can't handle the full bandwidth of 1080p. That's the problem: if you're transporting a 1080p signal on anything but an HDMI cable, you're losing quality.

Any RPGs in the 360 mix? Besides Oblivion, that is...
Enchanted Arms is an RPG that's out right now.
I gamefly'd it but didn't play it much because I wanted to return it real fast to get Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
Also Kameo is a zelda style action RPG. Maradon! fucked around with this message on 01-12-2007 at 09:46 AM.
