How often do you change your toothbrush? How often do you brush your teeth?
2. Either when the bristles start breaking up and going in every direction, or when the little blue markers say it's time to change the brush, whichever comes first.
3. Once a day, usually when I take a shower, or twice a day (with the first time being in the morning, and again when I take a shower) if I have to do something important like a doctor's appointment later on in the day.
2) Whenever the blue gets to half-way.
3) 1-2 times a day.
2) Every 6 months when I go to the dentist.
3) Before I go to bed, and right when I wake up.

I thought it was kinda common nowadays that toothbrushes have a bunch of bristles on em that change white as you use the toothbrush. Usually they're colored blue.

I change my toothbrush when fancy strikes me.
I brush my teeth once a day normally.

1. Weekly.
2. Whenever the bristles start to look bad.
3. As soon as I eat something. Unless I'm not at home, then as soon as I get home.

You do know that over-brushing can erode the gumline and lead to serious problems, right? Same as brushing too hard.

Or rather, I don't like having the "dirty teeth" feeling. Gadani fucked around with this message on 11-26-2006 at 10:29 PM.

Dentists usually tell you chewing gum is the best thing to do after a meal if you like the feeling of clean teeth, as it helps dislodge most of the food particles remaining around them. As long as it's sugar-free gum.
I don't really eat that many times a day, though...
How often is considered "overbrushing"?

I don't know, I'm not a dentist. Anything over 3 times a day I would think. If you're really worried about it ask your dentist.
I just know that brushing them like mad and eroding your gumline is bad.

Is that what that's for? I always thought it was just so the toothbrush looked more toothbrushy.
anyway I usually use three brushes for every two tubes of toothpaste. I brush once a day in the morning, and I floss at night... I really should brush and floss at night I suppose.

Only if you're brushing improperly or using a brush that has stiff bristles.
Using any brush rated "soft" and brushing away from your gums helps keep them in good shape. You can brush 4 times a day like this without any trouble.

About once a month I'd guess.

Changed every 6 months, brushed twice a day.
As needed.
Twice daily.
