Hey folks, I had a really cool guest lecturer come in and do a short seminar about his research last week, and the video is up on Google Video. His name is Vincent Cheung, and he is currently a doctoral candidate in computer engineering at the University of Toronto. Check his website for his research, cv, etc... really interesting research (to me).

Anyway, just figured I'd throw that out there.

God, I hate how ridiculously ambiguous the lines between EE, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science are sometimes.

That said, he's doing some damn cool stuff. Kinda makes me want to take the AI course here.

I'm wondering if you would be able to apply the same principles to pure data. It may have some interesting applications there.
