I want to cut an awesome pvp video but Animation Shop does a really shitty job of making .avi's and syncing audio and stuff.

I already have fraps to take the videos, but I really don't know what to look for to edit them and put cool text and effects and shit in. What's out there that's easy to use that I could look to purchase in a totally legal manner that certainly would not involve emule?

SP2 comes with Windows Movie Maker. If you've got the SP, you've got it.

I used it to compile those WoW videos I posted here however long ago it was. Simple, limited, but it works.

Adobe Premiere takes a bit to learn but it's real nice/flexible once you get the hang of it.

You could also use Movie Maker (which you should have on your comp already) but it's pretty poor quality. On the bright side it's easy as hell to use.
