Get your special Gamestop/EB Games exclusive collector's edition of Final Fantasy XII.
I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piƱa coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

That's all they're putting in the collector's edition? Shit, Square Enix is getting lazy.

So, are we talking FFT Ivalice or faggy FFT:A Ivalice?

I watched Advent Children the other day. Probably the prettiest animation I've seen. Too bad it sucked in every single other way. I think it'll have some value in the "drink beer with the bros and laugh at it" genre, but jeez, what's with the deus ex machina every three minutes?

Deus Ex Machinae are perfectly acceptable plot devices.

What made it even better was the consistency: every one of them was some random character from the games that hadn't so much as been mentioned before. . .but just happened to show up just in the nick of time to rescue someone.

As far as the quality of character development and storyline, we're talking FFT.

The world just happens to have the same non-human races that got started in :A because :A's world was based on a storybook written about FFXII's Ivalice. Technically it's the same Ivalice as FFT, but in the past when airships etc. existed. I guess all the races other than humans died out.

*shrugs over the FFXII info, but notices an ad below...*

What the hell! How come no one said there was a Disgaea 2 coming out at the end of August? And how come none of my gaming magazines ever mentioned it?

Heh, nice. Know much about it yet? 2 sentences of info on it doesn't tell me much. Although hearing that it focuses on Adell instead of Laharl makes me lose a little enthusiasm. But only a little.
