Suddar helped me look into a game which I had no idea about and I don't think he did either. The game? O2Jam.

It's a rhythm game that uses the keyboard to hit falling notes a-la DDR or Guitar Hero. Big freakin' deal, right? Well, yeah pretty much. But it is fun and everyone should try it because it's free and Korean.* (which makes it good I guess)

I haven't messed around with multiplayer yet, as I've only been practicing to at least stand a chance in real games. The game is in complete English (or Engrish as the case may be) so figuring everything out isn't a problem. There's even a tutorial for those who haven't played a rhythm game before.

The way buying avatar crap goes is that much like Gunbound, you have your basic character. Off the boat, it looks like a kid that just got out of a concentration camp. UNLIKE Gunbound, they give you 10,000 gems to suit your character up. When you go into the shop, you'll notice half the stuff is in gems and half is in EP. E-Points are the shit you gotta actually pay for and Gems you get by winning games.

You can win gems just by practicing, so it's not bad at all and the selection isn't that bad for the people that want to play for free anyways. None of the avatar stuff outside of rings do anything for your game, I believe, so that eliminates the problem of all avatars looking the same. Also, you CAN buy songs for E-Points and supposedly they're "better" than the Free 2 Play ones, but I couldn't care less right now. This game is pretty damned fun right out of the "box".

The game client can be found here. It comes with like 10 songs normally, and it says you should download them from that site, but that's a really dumb idea. There's like 20 something song packs that total the game out at somewhere between 150 and 170 songs and the packs can all be found here.

Notes: The registration does ask for a drivers license number, so just make up a fake one. The game is based in Malaysia and just cares about those kids and their ID numbers.

*May actually be Malaysian.

Do you have a non-filefront place for the song packs...I hate filefront and it hates me.

The only other place is the main site, in the download -> song pack section.

The direct downloads go dog slow and the torrent is 1.1 gigs and isn't seeded.

I'll hook you up with a couple song packs to get ya started, but I don't wanna host the whole thing haha.

When I log in, it brings up a window asking to install the EGames plugin. When I tell it to install it, a new window appears saying

"An error has appeared in the script on this page."
Object doesn't support this property or method.
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

So I choose "Yes" and it just goes blank.

Please to be helping with the make it work?
