Just started playing a Lock, since my Priest is just dull for PvP and I'm looking for some insight on what's a good talent build for levelling up? Mostly soloing since I'll be playing at work.

If/when you start raiding, MD/Ruin might be good to switch off to (Master Demonologist/Ruin from the destruction tree)
Start by getting 5/5 demonic embrace, then 3/3 imp voidwalker, then work your way up affliction. You'll have nightfall by level 34 or so.

What he said, though you can get to nightfall first if you really want -- the Voidwalker seems to be able to hold his own until the high 30s.
