And empire builders, how is Civ4? Are there any other noteworthy games in this genre that are out or coming out?

Awesome, though hopefully the patch will come out soon that clears up issues (problems with ATI cards, a memory leak, and performance issues in long games) and improves other things (making automated AI worker not build farms everywhere). Despite the issues, you can't ask for a better strategy game.

I like them both very much except for the horrible VA and bad dialogue.

Barbarian Invasion is awesome, though. Also, those three armies are awesome. I defeated ~1,500 units with 300 units.
