I'm anti-war. That's why I didn't want to take our troops out of Iraq and leave a vacuum of power.

I'm anti-bloodshead. That's why when people say how great it would be to have a world without borders, I think that's not a good goal to have. The cost in human lives to obtain it would be too great, and it would be too oppressive.

Aparently, these ideas make me a republican duche.

No offense ese, but if you're going to take the time to share your opinion the least you could do is spellcheck.

but hey don't let this stop the way of what is bound to be another amazing political debate

Although my distaste for you as a human being is brobdingnagian,
what I'm about to do isn't personal.

I thought that the Iraq war was a terrible idea too, but pulling out now would just make the whole thing worse, so you can't be too Republican there if even I agree with you.

The second point is somewhat complex. Look at how much blood was shed in the west alone to gain what we today consider fundamental human rights. Also a world without borders doesn't have to be a sudden development, it could be achieved throughout a gradual process of political and economic integration over 50-60 years. Of course if today, in a world in which most countries are fortresses that refuse to let you in or out, you just abolished borders it would be chaos since there are too many people around that have wanted to move all their lives but couldn't.

Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

Sounds like Star Trek philosophy to me.

As a concept, I don't see it ever working as it ignores the simple fact that humans are territorial by nature.

Stupidity, and he's not doing a very good job of it.

A Kansas City Shuffle is when everybody looks right, you go left.

It's not something people hear about.
