Also note that I have not played WoW since around release, so my opinion on this matter is more or less irrelevant. Also, I'm not certain that I spelled "irrelevant" correctly.

Both kick ass and take names. Both do lots of damage, and can do it rather quickly. However rogues do more burst damage because of high crit rate, and warriors can take a beating and deal back out pain.
The whole, "if you want to group, go warrior, if you want to solo, go rogue" bit is kinda bullcrap. Both solo well, both group well. So I give you one consideration on what class you shall be:
PvP. Rogues kill casters and sneak around. Warriors kill rogues and charge into combat. Pick from that.
(Personally, I'd play rogue, simply because I don't have to wait for my abilities to be useable (usable?).)
And play on Zul'Jin, Horde side. Our EC numbers are still going up I believe.

That's such bullshit. Yeah, rogues are nice to have and are in almost every party, but that's just it. They're in EVERY party.
It's way harder to find a group without a rogue because so many people play them. I'm constantly in groups needing a tank.
