I'm beyond words. Blindy. fucked around with this message on 07-18-2005 at 02:05 PM.
While I can say if my church had this kind of overhead I'd be scared, I fail to see how this would be a bastardization of Christianity. If it's a functional church that brings the Gospel to many, great! However, if it's just a Country Club for church goers, I'd like to see some nice hard facts.
To take over an arena is one thing. I've seen "churches" that were huge campuses. A huge sanctuary, separate classes for sunday school, a pastoral residence that would make most Governors Mansions look like town homes. Those are a travesty. Money like that should reinvested into it's community and charities.

Did you read the part about the way the Church teaches that faith in God and tithe are rewarded with money?
Yikes. There was only like half that article there when I read it. It ended at the 3rd paragraph. Stupid browser...
The story looks like it's trying to put the best face on this place. Wanna bet there's something fishy going on in the background? Time will tell, I'm willing to bet there will be a nice big juicy scandal that will bring the place crashing down. Might be fun to watch.

It doesn't matter. The Voltar Invasion will be here soon and everything will be destroyed.
