I was listening to some of the music on my iPod (mostly my Trance and Techno stuff) and I realized that all I really had is what stuff was uploaded onto the EC FTP.

So, I beseech thee EC, tell me some good Trance/Techno artists and some of their songs. I like DDR music (people talking about DDR songs inspired this post, actually) and the style of this one song I have in particular:
Divine Inspiration - The Way.

Thanks a lot.

I enjoy DJ Shadow lots, dunno if you would really call it Techno or Trance though.

I like to listen to DJ Doboy. He does alot of 70-80 min mixes in vocal or trance and sometimes other things. He should have a couple of his mixes to download on his site.

Paul van Dyk is fucking amazing.

Same thing can be said about Paul Oakenfold, but not to as much of an extent.

I got the Seven Ways CD which was actually 2 CDs (for price of one omg) by PvD and I love it.

Telepopmusik has some real cool stuff lately (try Into Everything.) I've been listening to UNKLE a lot (Download Reign.)
There's always Juno Reactor.

Some of Prodigy's older stuff is good. Music for a Jilted Generation was their last good album, though.

T3KL3R is good too, but good luck finding it.

Yes to Paul Van Dyk, but Paul Oakenfold hasn't impressed me as much (except for a couple of songs which are drop dead awesome).

I have nothing else to contribute.

I personally like Daft Punk.

DJ Tiesto is pretty cool too. ATB and DJ Dean are also some good ones.

Ok, you came to the right place.

To get a load of techno via webcasts, try Digitally Imported

C89.5, a Seattle radio station I listen to while I lived there.

Energy, a local Phoenix radio station.

For my recommended techno/trance/house artists:

4 Strings, ATB, BT, Da Buzz, Dance Nation, Deepest Blue, DJ Encore, DJ Mystik, DJ Quicksilver, Ian Van Dahl, Paul Oakenfold, and The Cynic Project.
