Well I just had to help euthanize my German Shepard of 15 years, Jessi-Girl. Had her since I was 5, but in the last year or so her health has plummeted, so we decided to go ahead and end her suffering. God, hardest thing I ever had to do.

You have my deepest sympathies.
I believe in the existance of magic, not because I have seen proof of its existance, but because I refuse to live in a world where it does not exist.

I am really very sorry to hear that, Ryu. I worry about when that day will come a lot. I've had to put down pets before, and I know it never gets any easier.

I know how you feel. We had to put down my Frankie a little over a month ago.

My ShepardxHuskie is almost 15.. He has arthritis through him.. The vet says he's not in any pain, but it makes you wonder.. I'm going to be broken when he passes...

And his little buddy next door, a West Highland Terrier just died, and he was younger than my dog. ;_________;

I'm sooooo sorry for having to put down your dog, but it's for the best if she was suffering... I hate losing pets. I ball for days when one of my rodents dies.

I lost my big, dumb, smelly golden retriever last month.

Every time I go over to my mom's house, I head into the backyard half-expecting him to be there so I can throw the ball for him.

I miss that dog...

My condolences, sir. It will be ten years this October since my dog Barney was put down, and I still miss him.

I'm sorry, My dachsund (not quite sure how to spell it) is 17, he should have died when he was 10, but some how lived... he's got major joint arthritis and whimpers everytime he jumps on my brother's bed.

But, look at it this way, atleast he's not suffering any more...

Yeah, death in pets hurts differently than most other things. Sorry to hear it bud.

In my job I routinely see the humane euthanasia of animals everyday, so I didn't expect to cry when we put Jessi down...but damn, when I popped the vein, the vet administered the shot and Jessi gave this one large sigh before she slipped away...I just lost it and just started crying. Guess you never know how something like that will effect you until it actually happens.

Peter: I'm not afraid of anything, I laugh in the face of Death. See HAHAHAHA.
Death: Oh great! Thanks a lot. As if it wasnt already hard enough to fit in.
