The F.E.A.R. Beta was just released for subscribers only, I was only curious if someone could just loan me and account for I could possibly download, it'd mean a ton

Thanks if possible.

If you want to be in the beta so bad get your own account. Fileplanet does this kinda stuff all the time and you can download stuff much quicker then on their public servers. It really is a pretty good deal.

Its rare that there's actually one of these betas worth downloading, and I've always gotten stuff from BT/Fileshack quick enough for my tastes. And I don't think he wanted in it "so bad". Just seemed like he was asking if someone would loan him access just to download it, something that which has been done by ECers before. Overreacting much?

That said, I wouldn't mind getting it myself. Hint hint. Please please. ^_^ I don't want it "so bad" though!

Yeah, now that fileplanet has bribed all the developers in the world into charging you for their open betas, you might as well bend over and take it up the ass from Fileplanet once a month.

It's such a good deal! I mean, you get to pay to play open betas that were once free!

Not only that, but you can rub it in the faces of people who continually bitch about it, because you're in the beta while they aren't! That alone is worth the $5 a month

I shall get my beta when I get home today

Okay, well now that I've downloaded the beta...

The game is OK, I suppose.

My computer can only run the game on "minimum" graphics, which looks slightly better than Doom 2.

And even then, I get 20 or so FPS.

Is this a problem with the game code or with my system?

Without knowing your system's specs, who can say?

The game has some pretty absurd requirements. It wouldn't let me download the beta until I fibbed about some of my stats, and that's even with one of nVidia's highest end cards available, a gig of RAM, and a 2.8 processor.
