Anyone have some solid information on the game? Please to respond! Thanks.
It's not something people hear about.

Snoota obviously shouldn't have said:
How come you freaks don't come in IRC. I'm all alone with Parce and Waisz. Do you have any idea what that's like?
I don't even talk to you anymore.

Did they say why, Snoota, why they want you to terminate my command?

I'm trying to go to sleep.

A sleep deprived Snoota stammered:
You were as of about twenty minutes ago.
That was really more talking "at" you.

Mr. Parcelan had this to say about dark elf butts:

Then what is this.
I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I have been so far.
It basically plays like the bastard child of Diablo and PSO, but as a very beautiful entity. The combat is typical MMOG faire with auto-attack and hotkeys to special moves and spells.
You start off as a Warrior, Monk, Necromancer, Ranger, Mesmer, or Elementalist. Each has its own basic body type and starting clothes. The hair and face choices/colors are pretty varied, so they've clearly done some work over the past year on customization. You can also scale your height. (Monks can get TEENY when short! It's so cute.)
One thing that I had to sort of come to terms with was that the Monk is the healer class, but in a tai chi kind of way.
One other thing that's very interesting is that the only time you'll have the MASSIVE part of MMORPG is inside the towns. Here, you'll have various instanced versions of said town where everyone can congregate, trade, chat and form parties. Once you zone out into the world, you are either solo or with your party.
There are also tons of quests to be had, whether aquired in town or outside. These tend to be very fun and often involve smart-acting NPCs, sometimes going on an entire adventure in their company.
The world itself seems to be quite massive. Your personal map expands as you explore, so there's some satisfaction to be had in that sense. There are also various collectors scattered around that'll trade you nice goodies for monster bits. Additionally, any major town you discover can be teleported to at whim no matter where you are. Not realistic, but very handy.
That said, I've been playing the game as if it were a single-player adventure so far today, and enjoying the heck out of it. I'm certain that with other people it would be just as fun.
Random screenshot time!
A small town in one of the beginning areas.
A path leading through an absolutely breathtaking forest.
Me in the process of letting loose a fireball spell.
Bam!
Statue fountain in the heart of the forest.
Snowy mountains on the horizon, and the girl I happened to be escorting.
The tower in said mountains, where I helped fend off an ice elemental attack to get new spells.

Death, inscribed on a wall.
Death, in a stained glass window.
"Well that was creepy, but we escape with the loot!"

Played an early beta weekend way back months and months ago, and it does play alot like Diablo. You only have like 8 slots you can use spells/skills in at any given time, though you may know more, can only have that many up and useable.
I liked the fact that it seemed to combine a lot of different mmorpg aspects into on game. (PvP, Team PvP, Missions, Standard XPing, XPing or missions with computer players etc etc).
If the sky were to suddenly open up, there would be no law, there would be no rule. There would only be you and your memories.
And I managed to get to level 20 legit with my Ranger/Warrior. Pretty fun.

And I was all like 'Oh yeah?' and Addy was all like:
Man, now I have to decide between a Mesmer and Monk. And then the subclass choices! Argh!
I like the idea of an undead horde following my commands as a Necromancer. ^.^

Need a break from raw DPS.

I kinda miss being a Wizard too... Funny how that works.
