Who else is pissed off about this "all rock" bullshit format change on K-Rock? It was the last decent radio station NYC had.
It sounds the same to me... really.
Edit: Btw, go fuck a brick wall dude. (It made me laugh.) Manticore fucked around with this message on 04-06-2005 at 05:41 PM.
Every alternative and rock station did a KSJO memorial, and Live 105.3 started the KSJO Midnight Mullet rock program in its stead.
People wept in the streets.

ClearChannel killed KSJO, the bay area's biggest and oldest rock station, and turned it into a spanish classics station.Every alternative and rock station did a KSJO memorial, and Live 105.3 started the KSJO Midnight Mullet rock program in its stead.

ClearChannel killed the only rock station in the Houston area in favor of a latino station. Thankfully Cumulous picked up like, 90% of the staff and made another one.
The station has Live streaming too, so you can listen to it wherever you are.
They once fielded a request by email for Jane's Addiction from someone in Japan.

Funny.. same thing happened to HERO Rock in El Paso. Parent company decided to target the teen latino market and killed one of the best alternative and metal stations in the area for a spanish pop station from LA.
the problem? El Paso is on the border of Juarez Mexico... and about 2 billion SPANISH F'N STATIONS!!! Its like opening a White Castle between McD's, Burger King, Carls JR, Whataburger, Sonic, In and Out and Wendys

Maradon! had this to say about Jimmy Carter:

I used to listen to a station here off and on that played all oldies rock type songs. Then one day I flipped to it and all of a sudden it's playing some sort of modern hip hop crap.

How.... Karnaj.... uughhhhhh:
I guess K-Rock realizes that the market for rock is dwindling fast, and are trying to cash in as much as possible before Stern leaves. After that, I'd wager good money that they follow Y-100 in Philly and switch to a rap-only lineup.
Isn't K-Rock now called G-Rock? I thought they were bought out or something.

KSJS has some good stuff sometimes. San Jose still has 107.7 and 98.5 if you want classic rock, and 98.5 hired a couple of KSJO's old DJ's.
I just can't stand Greg Kihn though
