CoH is a lot of fun. There's a lot of neat and nifty new stuff, like difficulty toggles for your missions (You can go to an NPC and tell them what sort of missions you want to be given. Higher levels are nigh impossible to solo. But really neat.)
I just did an 8 person indoor mission, and my lord, having 8 heros, and like 20 Tsoo fighting at once is great. I'm personally fond of my character, and the critical hits I get. I've gotten pretty good at jumping in th eback of the of the crowd, and killing the NPC controllers in a few hits.
I haven't gotten a cape, or alternate costume yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
I've leveled three times, and haven't been to my trainer once, because I lost my template a long time ago, and can't remember where I was going to put everything. Cry.
However, I do have an unspent Respec point.
So far, it seems pretty fun, and is a nice break from raiding in WoW every single night.
Edit: Oh, and apparently despite being nerfed a couple of times, Burn Tankers are still ungodly powerful. Go figure. Lashanna fucked around with this message on 04-02-2005 at 11:55 PM.
They've added PvP and some new costumes.
I want city of villains

Greetings,
There are a lot of new things already in the game. New power pools after level 40, two new unlockable power sets, and an absolutly obscene amount of backstory added.
The new arena PvP on the test server is super buggy at the moment, but it is improving. Controllers and those with fear effects just own everyone right now, not to mention simply being able to hover is a huge advantage. Will be interesting to see how they balance it out.
After burning out on WoW, I find the pacing and frentic combat of CoH a very nice change of pace.

Once you hit level 50, you unlock two new archetypes. One's a tentacle monster.

Both can turn into tentacle monsters.

I always wondered why the only difference between 'rampage' and 'rapage' was the letter M...

Regular human. Ill post post some pics of both nova and dwarf form later.

That's what I meant, the dwarf form. I believe nova form = tentacles.
My nova form, or squidy, or hentai tentacle monster, whatever you want to call it. Acts like a blaster, has no defense, but kills things really quickly.
Dwarf form, the tank. Extremely good at holding aggro, but doesn't damage very well.
Human form, he has a lot of buffs, so I buff up and then turn into whatever I need to.

KaLourin wrote this stupid crap:
I have never once seen anyone use the dwarf form in game. Man that thing looks rude.
I've seen dark dwarf used quite a bit, but never light dwarf. Though it seems everyone just focuses on nova form.
I'm gonna fiddle around on the test server a bit then get back to Guardian.

How do I get to the Test Server?
Get on AIM and I'll tell you.
It's not something people hear about.
