While Mr. Fuuru would not comment on the technology used for the printing of new Shonen Jump manga, inside sources are saying that it will work much the same as currency, and checks where you can not make a copy of the original by simply scanning, scanned images of Shonen Jump manga will show nothing more then a black image. This project is expected to cost over an amazing ¥5 Billion JPY ($50 Million USD) which will be covered by a ¥100 JPY ($1 USD) price increase effective immediately. It is expected this will put an end to manga being distributed online.
