So I have an account, but when I try and download the game to install on my computer it keeps hanging up on me. Halp?

Do you mean hanging up as in, you have a dialup connection and keep getting disconnected, or hanging up as in, you have an always-on broadband connection and the download starts, then stops and does nothing?
Thief: "I have come to a realisation. Dragons are not real in a general sense, but they may exist in certain specific cases."
Fighter: "Like how quantum mechanics describes how subatomic particles can spontaneously pop into existence at random!"
Thief: "No, that's stupid and stop making up words."

As in it goes 'fuck this' and stops responding, then closes.

Is this when you're downloading the install, or when you've downloaded the install and are updating?

-EDIT- Should have read your post better, thought you had the game already and were trying to update. If its just hanging up while downloading it could be anything. If it hangs up right when you finish downloading and you open it, maybe your comp can't handle uncompressing the large file too well. If it closes up during the download, try using something like Download Accelerator Plus to save your progress, so even if it closes, you can resume where you were(that is if it doesn't get corrupted).

If it's hanging up during the actual updating, it might not be actually be hanging up, but I'm not sure how long you waited.

P.S. Who are you Arcanis? We shall see how omnipotent u rly r~ Sometime.

Who am I? I'm new to these forums, so I'm a newbie. But I am omnipotent though. *snaps his fingers* There, to prove it, your precious Chuck Norris is now dead.Enjoy.

Yeah...it's too bad that Chuck Norris endorses the Total Gym, not the Bowflex.

You're not off to a great start.

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piƱa coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

And how sure are you that Chuck didn't fake his own death to put Bowflex out of business? They are his greatest competitor...Anyways it was pretty funny so I put it up there.

ANYWAYS, how is Magic the Gathering online? Do you have to pay for an account (monthly) or just buy the game?

If I remember right, you can get a free account if you buy the game. BUT, you have to pay for cards, which are just like buying em in real life. The features on it are nice, but I'd rather stick with something like Apprentice to have access to all the cards for free.

I like MtGO for the casual Magic Player.

No fighting over rules, faster games, etc.

Pretty organized.

An account costs $10, but it comes with a $10 coupon for cards (basically, an account is free, you just have to buy $10 worth of cards).

Once you have an account, it never goes away, and there is no fee, or no "You have to log in every soandso".

How is the deck system set up? are you awarded cards with wins? How do you choose your starting deck?

It works exactly like real life. You get cards, you make whatever the heck deck you want, you play that deck, good or bad. There are no official ante games only unofficial ones which never work out since whoever loses never actually forks over the card, heh. Not that anyone would play ante with any cards in their deck worth more than a nickel anyways, hehe.

You choose your starting deck by either buying a regular pre-constructed or packs or single cards and making a deck to play
