So, this is thanks to you, Falaanla.
Without going into too much detail in my backstory, I basically was kicked out of my house. Much more complicated than that, with several reasons as to why, ones I both do and don't agree with, but not going to include it here. Needless to say, I felt very lonely. (understatement btw) It's a bit of a shocker when your parents pretty much abandon you. (They later told me the tough love story, and I understand where they're coming from, but the approach they took wasn't the greatest to my health) Honestly didn't know what to do.
This is when Fal stepped in.
At first, I'll be honest, I didn't think he was being 100% serious when he suggested me moving into his grandparents' place while I get myself stabilized. In fact, I expected him to back out of it the next day after thinking it over. He proved my pessimism wrong, however. "My mom can help you find a job, apartments are cheap here," he continued listing the reasons. I was convinced. I saw this as a way to start my life over. Mend mistakes. It's not every day someone offers you an eraser to clear away the past, after all. And, living what... 30ish minutes away from the ocean? Who can refuse!
So, that's where I am now. Sitting in his room because my computer took over his desk. Btw, Fal uh, can I clean up your room. God.

Thanks for being such a great friend, and a priceless "big brother," Falaanla. You're truly a hero, in my eyes anyway. Thanks for putting up with me.
