Next Tuesday is my official 6 month post-op check-up, but my weightloss thus far is 176 pounds. I was hoping to be down 200 pounds by the appointment, but I think pushing 14 more pounds in less than a week is a bit much (especially since I am having gallbladder surgery on Friday )
Life is so completely different now than it was at this time last year, or even six months ago. I love my life again. I love being active. This morning I did three miles on my exercise bike and only stopped because I had to eat breakfast (I keep forgetting to do this). I don't hurt anymore. I like knowing that the weight is still coming off and as long as I do what I am supposed to do, I'll reach my goal.
By my one year appointment I'd like to be down a total of three hundred pounds. After that, I want to lose another sixty and I will be where I want to be. Anything after that is gravy.
Anyway.. on with the pictures.
Totally awesome Jaja!

Maradon! had this to say about Optimus Prime:
Is that the angle or are you spontaniously changing height as well!
Probably the weight coming off letting her stand up straighter, AND the angle of the camera. She used to kinda (sorry Jaja) waddle. Had to have her legs kinda skewed. Now she stands a lot straighter, legs together more, etc. Probably accounts for the height. If anything the angle on the later pics almost looks tilted downwards, which might make her seem shorter than she is.
But she is DEFINITELY looking a lot healther. Not so pale. Looked kinda constipated in the first pic. The guys in my Dad's side of the family either have a long neck or no neck. My grandpa and I have no neck. Square heads on shoulders. Jaja always had a neck, and in the first pic she really didn't...but now as you can see, her neck has returned.

Looking at the last pic...I think your kid caught your infectious enthusiasm there
Disclaimer: I'm just kidding, I love all living things.

Edit: oh yeah. Congrats!!!!!
I am less tired now. I love all the energy I have. It's nice to know that I can enjoy walking around a zoo, or the mall, or just in the neighborhood and I won't get tired easily. This time last year I got winded just going from the front door to the car. I guess I never wanted to admit how bad of shape I actually was.
I dislike Jared, too, Zane. I want someone new! A girl, perhaps.
Anyway.. I realized on my way out yesterday I did the math wrong for how far I am until I am down 200 (should have been 24, not 14). Ah well! I weighed myself this morning and I lost another four pounds, so I may reach that goal in the next two weeks. *crosses fingers*
Thank you everyone for the kind words. I really do appreciate it.
As for Chase.. he's always in a good mood.. plus he was showing off his self inflicted hair cut.. heh
Anything that makes you healthier and happier is wonderful!
Yay otherwise.
