Its a one-time useable item, not actually a pet.
The list is also missing info on the engineering pets. You get the Pet Bombling or 'Lil Smokey as occasional gifts for renewing your goblin/gnomish engineering membership. (Bombling for goblin, Smokey for gnomish.)

What is fun too is delivering Horde pets to the Gadgetstan Auctionhouse, and selling cockroaches, prarrie dogs, and snakes to the Alliance for 3 gold a pop. Nice bit of extra cash.

Sort of similar topic, but does anyone know if you can charm Silithids? I've seen hunters run around with the scorpion ones, never seen anyone with the Harvester though. If the mob is considered a beast, its worth a shot.

Some beasts are marked as untameable. I would venture a guess that that particular one is as well.
Btw. Felhunter + rogue = what stealth advantage?
