And it only made me want to see this movie MORE! MUST SEE MOVIE!
But I loved Gene Wilder in the original.. 
I wish he still did movies. He's so talented.

What with the title being that of the book and not the movie, it seemed pretty obvious to me. But, really, what the hell do I know?

Gene Wilder is probably my favorite actor, but that doesn't mean this will be a bad movie. I think Depp will play the role nicely and the way he looks in it is already fucking awesome.

I havent read the book in 6-10 years or something but i seem to remember the ending (elevator and post elevator) being the chief storyline difference between book and movie.. but like i said.. 6-14 years ago.

That's why I'm afraid of him remaking movies.
Even if they are based off of the source material...
I'm iffy about Depp but I think he'd to a better job that most others.
I think this movie will tank and then fade into obscurity. Nothing can replace my original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Nothing.
