So here I sit at work. It took me an hour to get here. The snow in my yard is up to my shins.

But, at least it's a White Christmas.

It's colder than I like, but nowhere near as cold as it could be. No snow either. I don't mind the lack of snow, but it's bad for farmers.

There's a dusting of snow across the neighborhood, but more importantly, there's a layer of ice underneath it.

Good news is that I don't have to work today, bad news is I can't finish my Christmas shopping

It might actually SNOW in Houston this year!

It's snowy. :B

I was suppose to go into work today apparently,but the schedual wasn't up last time I checked..... I was suppose to be there at 6am-2:30.. :B

I phoned and talked to my manager about when I was working today. She's like "6-2:30" me > "WHAT?" But then she said it didn't matter cause no one was there cause it's snowy so the floor was dead. yay! Another day off.

But I'm there tomorrow bright and early.

My county and 4 others have declared States of Emergency and are keeping people off the roads. It is pretty nice to have all the snow but making it a real bitch on the holiday season.

A little bit of snow on my lawn, but so far it looks like pouring gallons of whipped cream out the back of a cement mixer is the only way we'll get a White Christmas.

Although there's been a small pile of snow behind a local supermarket for weeks now. My theory is that it's just a facsimile under which someone's hiding drugs or something...I mean, it's a small pile of snow, it's the only place I've seen snow, it hasn't melted or changed shape at all, qed wtf.

Winter's been good thus far here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It's been bloody cold the past 3 days or so (I believe the windchill went under -40C at some point), but overall it's been an extremely warm winter. There is snow on the ground, but I've only had to shovel twice the whole winter thus far, and winter pretty much starts in October here.

Yeah, this post was partially to taunt the rest of the board Canadians.

Man you should see all the Indiana counties under snow emergency

Not us, thankfully. The DPW seemed to really be on the ball here, and roads have been passable at least. Motorists driving through from other states were getting stuck all over the place in the other counties, specially to the south.

Last night it was beautiful. There was a light snow fall, the ground looked like there were bits of diamonds inside. It was very romantic.

Its around 75F currently as I write this (10.28am Christmas Day), with a forecast top around 80-85F, Fine, Sunny... All in all a pretty normal Christmas here.

One day I wanna experience a "white Christmas"...
