I was just wondering what everyone's favourite romantic songs are, or maybe a "romantic" moment you shared with a special someone?

I'm just in a romance mood... and I realize it is passed 3 am!!

Stupid cheesy movies... they do this to me all the time! *blushes*

The Midnight Mix of Icehouse's song Crazy - a bonus track on the imported Man of Colours/Code Blue 2 CD set.

If I ever get married, that song will be the song played at our first dance.

I play a lil of a night out with John and Jordan, or some of the softer incubus, like The Warmth.

Also one of the best moments I had was parked on a local dam we have, it was late at night, and there was a bit of a major t-storm, so we sat in my car, blanket around us, and cuddled to the spatter of rain against my car.

Everytime UBT sings that to me I rip off all my clothes and attack him.

It's so romantic.

Anyway, I like the Los Lonely Boy's single 'More Than Love'

UBT wrote a song for me once. Whenever he sings that to me, I totally melt.

He just doesn't sing it often enough. I am greedy.

Pearl Jam's Last Kiss really isn't romantic, but I still like the song even though it's really depressing.

Probably my fav. romantic song would be the remake of Hide Your Love Away by Eddie Vedder, or Angel by Aerosmith.

I guess it depends. I like this version better because it conveys the message of the song better. I can see why somebody could like the original better, though...it's more fun, I guess. Probably easier to get into.

But Iron and Wine's version makes me all sad and nostalgic, in the good way.

"I'll Be" by Edwin McCain makes me all squishy and stupid when I hear it. And pretty much anything Josh Groban does in English is fantastically romantic-cheese. And I'll be the first to admit that the Backstreet Boys do romance in a way that any sane girl would just flip over . They're cheesy, yet sincere.
Premarital sex isn't worth it! You can catch AIDS, or cancer, or testicle weevils, or a bad body image or rickets. You know what IS worth it? Making love to Jesus. Because you can't knock Him up and He'll never ask what you're thinking – cuz He already knows!

If you can find it... The acoustic version of Incubus - I Miss You is really good. Also, Weezer - Only in Dreams and Yellowcard - Cigarette are pretty good. There are others, but I cant think of them right now, hehe.

Iron and Wine's makes me think of Garden State, which makes me teary eyed.

Omg!! That's so sweet,

As for me, my favorite romantic song? Uhhhh, :X I don't have one. I go through phases when it comes to songs, and the current one I listen to is this. Yeah, yeah... it's by one of the pop artists... but I really like it for some reason. I think it's the instruments.

edit: I totally forgot about Josh Groban, Lesage! His music makes me melt.

I remember a certain Imp here and I together after a dance back in high school. We were cuddling under a blanket watching a movie, she turns to me and says: "You know, you look really sexy in the dark." I say: "Gee...thanks?" Something about that moment was really funny and romantic to me. (Setting the record straight, we're only friends now; and happy with it. )

Angel by Hendrix, Angel Eyes by the Jeff Healey Band, Have I Told You Lately That I Love You done by Rod Stewart... there are a lot of good ones.

I think the song that holds the most romance for me is Perhaps Love by John Denver and Placido Domingo. But also good is a lot of Josh groban's stuff.

And I think that the most "romantic" moment I've had with someone special to me was an instant date. She was feeling a little down, and I told her that I was going to pick her up in EXACTLY 5 minutes, no excuses, no anything (she didn't even know it was coming). Then we went down to the river, with a pint of ice-cream and spoons, and walked along the river and gardens at night, just happy to be together (but I'm sure that the haagen dasz helped).

Bite me.

No, Really. Bite me.

I think they are just two diffrent typing of good sad songs... the Iron and Wine song is "the still madly in love with my girl of 5 years" sappy and the Postal service one is more along the lines of "I stopped talking to my friends cause I'm so obsessed with my girl of 6months." if that makes sense.

sappiest love song ever...Giving In by Juliet. I have the song but my ftp is down. I'll post it later. anyone know where I can get free ftp hosting?

My fav still has to be "From this Moment" by Shania Twain.

I do swear…that I’ll always be there…
I’d give anything and everything and I will always care
Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow,
For better for worse, I will love you
With every beat of my heart

From this moment…life has begun
From this moment…you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on
From this moment…I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I’d give my last breath
From this moment on

I give my hand to you with all my heart
Can’t wait to live my life with you can’t wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment…as long as I live
I will love you…I promise you this
There is nothing…I wouldn’t give
From this moment on
Oh oh

You’re the reason I believe in love
And you’re the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams…came true…because of you

From…this…moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn’t give
From this moment
I will love you as long as I live
From this moment on
