No, I'm not talking about book authors. As your eyes scan the threads list, are there certain people whose threads you always read, no matter what the thread is about? Do you always check threads where those people posted last, even if you hadn't been reading the threads prior to seeing their names? If you're skimming through a thread and see that poster's name, do you stop and read what he or she had to say?

Tell us which posters draw your attention the most. Don't feel restricted to Evercrest either; if there's a poster on another board whom you feel is particularly noteworthy, tell the rest of us about it.

I tend to go by tag. I usually ignore all Games threads (excepting WoW) and Windows threads. The others I usually get to eventually; no specific user draws my attention more than anyone else to my knowledge.

No one in paticular really. I usually go by thread titles and tags. If I looks interesting, I'll read it.

I'm the same for the most part. Though, if it's posted by folks like Bajah, Deth, Ares, or Delid, I'll often get to those before others.

That applies to places outside of EC as well. I'm immensely curious.

Usually if it's by Parcelan and it looks hateful, I go to it first. Otherwise, I just float around randomly.

I, like Karnaj, usually go by tags.

I tend to skip the Windows, Movies, and Art tags.

I figured that not everybody responds to names. Like most people, I read thread titles, and check the tags. The NSFW tag is the most obvious lure, and I tend to leave game tagged threads for those times when I'm really bored. But that's not the point.

Whenever I see a post by Nae, I look. She has been a cheerful and friendly person for as long as I can recall, and when we met in Vegas, she and UBT were really nice to me.

Posts by Katrinity attract my attention for a similar reason. Though I haven't personally met her, she's always been friendly, and usually brings a bit of cheer to any thread where she posts.

Though I'm not fond of politics tags, I become morbidly curious when I see a post by Bloodsage. Though I don't check every post he makes, if I happen to be skimming through a thread, I'll typically stop to see what he has to say. For a similar reason, I check posts by Callalron when I see them. Much of what he writes tends to have a distinctive wisdom to it.

Artwork intrigues me, so artists often get my attention. I check any thread started by Ares, and most started by Faelynn, even though he hasn't drawn as much of late. Ukko doesn't post much, but he's been a friend and we share several interests, so when I see him post, I always check. I also check the Deth Art threads as soon as I see them.

I check threads by Parcelan to see if he's written something funny, and find out if/when he's insulting me.

*shrug* Maybe it's just me.

I read most threads.
Exceptions are threads with the windows tag, personal drama/teenage angst threads, attention whoring/showoff threads and most "OMG happy birthday ****"/"I'm here for X years" threads.

NSFW, because random porn is always good.

For those of you who answered, "I read everything," is there someone whose posts or threads you read first? Though I understand that some of you only go by topics and tags, I find it hard to believe that so many people simply read every thread, each from beginning to end, starting at the top of the list, and working their way down, skipping nothing and giving nothing priority.

Aside from the obvious fact I track Lyinar/Jania threads more...

Ares art posts, Sage posts, Parce posts, Snoota posts are the top four. After that Bajah, Mr Gains, Gydyon, NSFW, and lately a lot of Addy posts. After that it's anything that looks interesting.

Only threads I avoid are any NSFW threads posted by Gains.
