UBT, it's a well known fact in the fantasy world that the less armor/clothing clad the women are, the more protected they are. Just look at any of the artistic works of Brom, Vallejo or Royo 
I do have to say though that I love how shapely my Pally is. She actually looks alot like me. You just won't see me cavorting around in a thong and metal bra lol!

I discussed the relationship of armor vs badass for female characters when I was in Stress Test 1. Every time I upgraded a piece of armor for my Night Elf she was progressively less and less clothed. The general theory is, Blizard believes and endorses the general anime convention of armor clad females. The less clothing/armor a woman is wearing, the more of a badass she is and the harder she is to kill.

I mean seriously. It just looks like ass. The leather armor line, for instance, looks like someone just made a 512x512 texture square, threw a bunch of brownish colors on it and smudged it all around.I have yet to see a single armor texture that looks good at all. Which is sad, because the skin, body, and face textures on the models look AWESOME, but it really sucks when the armor places look like someones leftover dinner smeared on canvas laid over top them. Just like in the bikin armor in the first post, its just like, a bunch of smudged colors together. Its like someone took MSPaint to the awesome ass skin textures and painted over them. Myself, as well as Trent and others that have talked about it, and it's been confirmed, they no longer bounce. It's not a huge deal, but it is kinda lame that for some odd reason they would change it, as well as some of the other things. I think the armor posted here is fun, it is ugly as all hell as most of the textures in the game are, but it is still fun. Dunno why it's been decided to take those things out.

Not quite, but chainmail is extremely effective at removing any traces of hair from exposed skin.

Not if it is made well. If the links have a decent cut, and are woven properly, with good closure, and the piece is made to fit, it will barely remove any hair.
