Greece was much larger long time ago. Greek Macedonia (the real Macedonia) stretched further up... but of course NOW... 48% of the former Greek city state of Macedonia is shared among Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia... etc etc... and 52% remains in Greece.
Alexander the Great's language wasn't understood by the Greeks eh? Let me mention that his TEACHER of ARISTOTLE who was born in Macedonia is hands down GREEK.
