No worries, right? I just have it sent to the email I registered with.
But.. whats this? The email address I registered with happens to be one I stopped using and eventually became inactive? Well, that sucks!
But wait! I can simply create an account with the same email service with the same email address as the one I registered with! Gunbound will never be the wiser!
Or will they?
Here is my problem:
After re-creating the address I told them to send the password, it tells me the password has been sent, yet I have not recieved the email.
With the vast internet wisdom that this place possesses, would there be any problem with the fact that I re-registered the email address after it being deactivated, then having Gunbound send my password to this reincarnated address?
Do you think because I did that, that the email wont be able to get through? Or is it just that the damn koreans or whoever made the game have a REALLY SLOW sending process and I just havent gotten the mail yet?
I hope this made sense, because any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: I've been waiting for this email for practically an hour now, just to let you know. Goma fucked around with this message on 10-24-2004 at 09:49 PM.
I remember my password, but for some reason it won't let me into the avatar room because my IP block changed when I moved from PA to SC. I need to respond to a verification email in order to change the associated IP block, but I'm in the same situation. I looked forever to find a way to change the email on the account.
There is nothing - NOTHING - you can do to get your password now. Your account is gone. Their FAQ even says that to them, your email is like your SSN and if you lose it you lose your account.
My ID is still there. I type it in, and try a random password and it tells me I (obviously) put in the wrong password. So that means my account is still there.
I just go to the "Lost Password?" page, type in my ID and email address, which is IDENTICAL to the one I originally registered with, and it tells me it is sent.
Although.. I also tried that BEFORE I re-registered the address, and it still told me the email was sent even though the address didn't exist at that time.
Anyways, I'll know for sure in 24 hours time, I hope.
In the mean-time I will keep trying to remember my password. I do hope I haven't run into the same problem as you, Maradon. I dont want to lose all of my money, or ranking points. Goma fucked around with this message on 10-24-2004 at 10:05 PM.

Yes.. but technically I have the email account back again.
Oh, I was so pissed about my own problem that I didn't read that part. Sorry. heh.
