Main points:
Tabs. No, not for windows. For chat. You basically configure a tab to catch X chat, like broadcast, etc. and put it in a window.. top, bottom, seperate.. And viola. They've broken combat down to things like combat warnings (Slug is still recharging..) damage recieved, dealt, healing recieved/dealt, etc. Spam is a thing of the past.
Outdoor missions. Usually a bitch (Especially if it's a "kill all"), but it adds a nice new dimension to mission-ing. And no more running all over zones, they're usually accessible from any tram.
Oodles of new animations. boombox could use some work, but I think that's more of a pet peeve. 
Oh yeah.. capes. Auras. BADGES. Badges are just awesome.
