There is no real point for 64bit user machines right now. Unless you're doing beta work on the 64Bit version of Windows or running a 64bit variant of Unix, it's generally a waste.
Yeah, upgrade the ram to a gig, make sure you set it up in a Dual Channel configuration and have fun.

Not with a 754 socket hes not.... if he waited for a 939 then maybe. Even then its not even a big deal for athlon, the performance gain would only look like 100mhz about.
