Lechium plays a level 8 orc warlock named Lechium.

Fizodeth plays a level 11 orc warlock named Bro-something, and a level 10 or so undead warrior named Fizodeth.

I'm guessing, never actually playing WOW before, that in a duo your money is split in half but your exp per kill isn't.. Like you both get 70% of the monster's base or something.

The glory of groups is that you get stuff done in half the time.

Hell, with even a duo of the same class, you should be able to go forever before having to stop and mana/heal.

If you're not able to do that, you've got no business playing.

Yeah, me and my bro can just kill and kill and kill, with very short breaks in between fights. However, our money is starting to mess with us, and it may get in the way of me getting some of my level 14 skills.

A) Get gathering skills (probably not a big deal for a seven day stress test)
B) Keep everything that falls off monsters. It can vendor for good crap.

Willias, you just suck. I'm nearing 4 gold at 20 right now and I spent a lot buying light leathers for 1s each a bit back. IMHO, money is a bit too easy to come by.

My recommendation is if you have skinning, then pick up leathercrafting. You'll get much more bang for your buck by making leather into other things, even if its just kits. Yes, you'll spend some in order to get new recipes, but its worth it.

As far as weapons, they do seem to suck on the horde side. I'm using a 6.7 dps mace right now and am considering buying a 9.9dps one from a vendor. (Lucky brother of mine got a 12dps drops drop with a poison proc, the bastard. He also got a 100-something armor shoulders, and I can't seem to find any.) You should *never* have to buy weapons or armor though. I've been fine only buying shields, food, drinks, etc.

Also, take a trip to silverpine at 15. You should be able to get both the quests done revolving around pyrewood (for a decent weapon) and weaver (this takes 2 groups though, but you get good armor or stave). Plus, that area is generally nice for quests and its a godsend for gathering leather.

How about you read: I've stayed grouped with my brother since level 1, and have given him some loot drops since they were upgrades for his character. (Though it has also worked the other way around too.)

Been there, done that. Some of the stuff I make has also been upgrades for my gear.

Never have had to buy food or drink, as mana and health never take long to regenerate back to full. Don't have enough money to buy new weapons/armor. Using a 5 or so dps mace, and have close to 400 armor though.

No clue where that is. But I might start putting a lot more effort into leathercrafting though, looks like some really nice upgrades will be coming up soon, and if I work at it, I could probably get the skill points for the second level of leathercrafting tomorrow. BTW, what does the second level of skinning do?

Dunno, I think you're ok then... maybe just a bit unlucky. Just stop buying armor/weapons from vendors, even if you have some substandard stuff, and fill in stuff you can't get from quests with stuff you craft. Soloing a bit might help; I usually am solo 50% of the time and group 50% of the time.

Second level of skinning allows you to skin higher level mobs. Starting with level 18 (not sure, that was the first time it happened) mobs, you'll need 80+ skill to skin them. Was kinda annoyed when it happened, since I expected it to last longer. I'm already maxed on skinning 2 as well, and have nowhere near the needed points for 3.

Silverpine forest is undead land. Take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar, take a right once you get off zeppelin, and run all the way down to The Sepulcher. Recommend going once you pick up two quests around 15-ish that send you there.

Heres something interesting I learned tonight while farming pigs for leather: You can still get skill points off of mobs 4 or 5 levels lower than you. Meaning that you get slow exp, and decent skill points.

Skill points are based on exp, so if you grind anything you'll get decent SP. Unless you mean skill for skinning? Yarr, you could gain skill off level 1 mobs if you have 0 skinning. Its based off skill level vs mob's required skinning level, hence the different colors of mob name when skinning a mob.
