Topic: ET keeps crashing

After about 5-10 minutes of playing the game locks up and one of those windows comes up asking if I want to send something to MS. If I rejoin after that, after another 5-10 minutes it'll just restart the computer. It didn't used to do this and I have no idea what it could be.

Any ideas?

If you use an NVidia card, there's some problem with the drivers that makes it unstable and prone to crashing. (Or in my case, locking up.) The only way I can fix it is by using older drivers, although I lost my download of some older ones, so I can't play.

I've got the same problem, it'll happen after you automatically download new maps sometimes. It'll fix the problem if you manually re-install the ET patch, at least for me. Annoying if you play on a lot of servers, though.

(Oh, and I'm Dark. I'm a lurker. I expect I will still get asked this at least 3 times every day I play. >< )
