This patch is downloading like ass. Blizzard needs to give up on the torrent thing. Or devote more of their bandwidth to it.
A friend told me that the way Blizzard's torrent system works is that it divies everyone up into groups of ~10 or so; instead of everyone feeding each other. That means that if you're grouped with 9 other 56k'ers, or 9 people that refuse to give up their bandwidth, your download sucks. Last patch I kept reconnecting to the torrent until I got almost acceptable speeds (30kb/s Darius! fucked around with this message on 08-18-2004 at 11:02 AM.
