Some of these may not be confirmed, but this is what I found on a couple sites to be the current song list of the upcoming installment to the Dance Dance Revolution series on PS2 in the States.

Also, other things about Extreme for US are..

  • Oni and Nonstop Modes will both be in the game.
  • Challenge songs will be included just as in Max2.
  • Mission Mode (Much like challenge mode on Ultramix and 4th Mix) is going to be on it.
  • Massive Amounts of Mini-games that require use of the Eye-Toy will be included.
  • A new interface will be used instead of the original Extreme one. This is because Eye-Toy needs a new interface to work right.

It's not required to play the game. It's completely optional.

On Ultramix 2 as of current. This is not the full song list, so it might still be on the final cut.

Since I mentioned it, I might as well give some info on Ultramix 2 as well.

Here is the current song list. It's not very big as not much has been said about it. (There's not nearly as much of a demand for info as Extreme USA).

DDR ULTRAMIX 2 SONG LIST
-------------------------

A - DJ Amuro
B4U - Naoki
Dead End - N&S
Leading Cyber - dj TAKA
Love Shine - Rika
Make a Jam! - U1
Make Your Move - good-cool
Maxx Unlimited - Z
My Summer Love - mitsu-O feat. Geila
V - dj TAKA

I don't know too much about it yet, except that there's gonna be new mini-games and battle modes to play. Also, there is a new interface that looks quite spiffy. Unfortunately for some fanbois (maybe fortunate for others)...Emi doesn't look like the cute, innocent Emi she used to...meet Emi the ho.

I'll be updating whenever I find new information.

So sorry, but you're wrong. It works great and it's loads of fun... Just because it's too innovative for you doesn't mean you have to go around bashing it

If it's like I think it'll be, and you can mix DDR with Para Para Paradise... I fear for my paychecks!

While we're on the subject of DDR, I've an interesting tidbit to toss around... The arcade at which I go recently replaced their Extreme machine with something that seems very much to be a fake, or a bootleg of sorts... It's called "Dance Dance Revolution Megamix", and it was pretty much Extreme edited (badly so) with more songs, I guess. I couldn't figure out what was changed, because I don't remember the songlists by heart, but the backgrounds weren't even the same color as the matte background on most menu sprites... Which made for a very unprofessional look.

What ticks me off is they're charging $.75 instead of $.50, and removed Play Until End of song, when the stupid thing is hardly better than Extreme.

A while ago. But it's probably more than I went to Japan, and that being horribly confused and lost most of the time, most of my sentences started with sumimasen (So sorry, but...). I haven't managed to drop the habit

Yeah, Megamix is some sort of bootleg bastard child of Extreme and 3rd Mix with interesting graphics. And you guys are lucky to have had a $.50 machine out there. All the Extreme machines and the one 5th Mix machines are $.75. I don't mind not playing till end of song. That's over here too.

As for the DDR+PPP thing...well here's a screen.

All times are US/Eastern
