Looks good to me. Only change I might recommend is to the ABIT IC7-MAX3 motherboard, It OWNS. Also, with the amount you are spending, get a Pioneer 106d DVD burner instead of the CDRW -- should run about 80 bucks more.

Oh yeah, reading Alaan's post:

Get the logitech MX700 wireless combo.

Looks like it should all go together. But since you are dropping a hefty buck anyway, I'd suggest getting a better keyboard and mouse. I rather like my Logitech Elite keyboard. Has all the media controls and shortcut buttons for all kinds of things. Also for only a few bucks more you can get a Lite-On combo drive thats a 48x burner and 16x DVD rom I believe.

Get rid of the floppy drive.

Come on, you know you want to.

A Kansas City Shuffle is when everybody looks right, you go left.

It's not something people hear about.

looks absolutely stunning.

One thing to note, there's a difference in looks and performance between the Klipsch GMX and the regular promedia. The GMX has a better subwoofer, and the regular promedia has better satellites. If music is more important than gaming, consider switching to the regular 2.1 promedias. If gaming is more important, leave it as it is. And if looks are most important, choose whichever you like best.

Bite me.

No, Really. Bite me.

Since you are spending a bunch already, ditch the wimpy GMX Klipsch, and go for the $300 full-powered Pro Medias.

I would so forget to charge that mouse. That's the only reason I don't have that personally. lol

For a few more hours newegg has GeForce 6800s for a "fairly" cheap price here

Just a suggesstion if you want to lower the price a little and don't mind nVidia.

Ok, I'll check out that mobo.

And I hate to say it, but I'm not really interested in wireless keyboard or mouse, not now at least. Maybe later.

Thanks for the heads up on the speakers Burger, I'll change 'em. I'm not really interested in 5.1, because I'm going to be in a dorm room, and the only time I won't be on headphones is when I listen to music. So that means I win't need them. I think.

I won't be purchasing it today, sadly. Thanks for the heads up though Naj.

Thanks everyone

The Abit IC7-MAX3 is a very very wonderful board.

I really should throw another gig of memory and that burner in my system...

EDIT: Oh yeah... don't forget a fan/heatsink for the CPU. OEM CPUs don't come with one. That's why I get retail CPUs.

It looks nice, the only suggestion I have is dropping the overly expensive RAM, because as far as I know there is no discernable performance boost. And maybe get some differnet speakers... Klipsch Promedia 4.1s or 5.1s depending on how much you want to drop.

With that kind of hardware, he wants the expensive RAM.

He said he doesn't want 5.1
